2026 North Coast Athletic Conference Softball Tournament
Wittenberg Captures Share of Fourth NCAC Softball Title, Enters Tourney as Top Seed
CLEVELAND, OH – The 2026 North Coast Athletic Conference Softball Tournament is set for Thursday-Saturday, May 7-9, at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. The Wittenberg Tigers earned the right to host the four-team event after earning a share of their fourth overall NCAC championship with an 11-3 conference record.
First-seeded Wittenberg will meet fourth-seeded Kenyon in the first round of the double-elimination tournament on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. Second-seeded DePauw opens tournament play on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. with a matchup against third-seeded Denison. The tournament continues Thursday afternoon with the winners of the day’s first two games squaring off for a slot in the championship round at 3:00 p.m., while the losers of the opening-round games will meet at 5:30 p.m. in an elimination game. The winner of Thursday’s elimination game will move on to face the loser of Thursday’s 3:00 p.m. game on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. to determine the final slot in the championship round. The first championship game will be played Friday at 1:30 p.m., with game seven set for Saturday, if necessary.
